Into the West in IR : In the summer of 2008 I had the opportunity to travel thru the mid-west and western US with my family. I also had the good fortune of having a friend who was willing to lend me his Canon XT which he had converted to an IR camera. The following shots are the results. They definitely have a much differnt feel. I was very pleased with the shots from the Monument Valley area, the weather was not optimal for regualr photography, however the IR shots looked very good. Included in this gallery are: South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and Arizona.
